Trespassing on Private Property
The Alberta Beach Snowmobile Club trail is mainly on public property with the exception of four areas. In these four areas the club signs a landowner’s agreement that protects the land owner and is only valid to ASA(Alberta Snowmobile Association) TRAIL PASS HOLDERS for crossing that property on the designated trail. Non trail pass holders are subject to being charged under the Petty Trespass act (act R.S.A.2000 c. P -11, Section 2(1)) which could carry a fine up to $2000.00 for a first offence and second offence is up to $5000.00. We ask all persons to respect the trail for snowmobile use only when the trails have snow and are groomed and not to encroach on any private property unless you are a trail pass holder and it is the designated trail.
